(remember that you can customize the key settings in the options/settings of the Pause Menu) Currently, work is underway for BTTD2, which is claimed to be a massive revamp of BTTD. Although not as successful as its predecessor, BT3 was still a hit, and generated more fame for HI. Basically, BT3 was a major extension of BT2, already itself a major extension of BT1. It also included Parts Packs to buy with money, but they were discontinued after Parts Pack 2. Bubble Tanks 3 was released in December of 2010, and included tons of new weapons and features to play with. BTTD1.5 included a few new towers and levels. Work was also underway for Bubble Tanks Tower Defence 1.5, which was released soon after announcement.
However, BTA was simply a testbed for the newest Hero Interactive game, Bubble Tanks 3, the direct sequel to BT2, which was announced shortly after the release date for BTA was revealed. BTA centered around fighting in arenas, and featured a brand-new tank creator and enemy creator, as well as an arena creator. Bubble Tanks Arenas came out a few months later, but, unfortunately, it was not quite as successful as Bubble Tanks 2. BTTD was released first, and was a popular hit, and demands for a sequel were quite often. Work also began on Bubble Tanks Tower Defence, a Bubble-Tanks-themed tower defence game that utilizes the whole bubble-growth concept. This rendered Hero Interactive practically famous, and when word was out that Bubble Tanks Arenas (said not to be a direct sequel to BT2), many fans were pleased. When it came out in 2007, Bubble Tanks 2 was an absolutely massive hit, generating over 10 million plays and getting one of the highest ratings of all internet flash games. This sequel would continue on the concept of the first game, of being a tank of bubbles and stealing enemy bubbles to fuel your growth. It was an extremely popular hit on many sites, and so work was underway for a sequel to this game.

I have a full siphon drain and 2 emergency drains coming from refugium, if flow gets restricted, emergency drains will drip loudly into sump safely.The first Bubble Tanks was released in 2006 as a project by Jared, the founder of Hero Interactive. Downside is no more pods, upside is clear tank water and better detritus removal. So I plumbed the other side of the filter roll directly to the refugium output, so now the display tank and refugium both drain into the filter roll.
While this was good to pump pods in the tank, I always had detritus flying around the display tank. I have a refugium in my sump and when some of the growth decays it pollutes the refigium so I installed a powerhead on a smart power bar to turn on every few hours to stir up detritus. Its rated for 500 gph but I'm running more though it I believe. Im running a Jebao DCT12000 up about 5 feet of head pressure running ~ 70% and this about the max flow rate for the filter roll. The performance has been great and it filters like a champ. I didn't like this a whole lot so I 3D printed a part for US connections.

However the standard connection is I believe metric PVC size so they include a flexible tube that can install over US PVC. It comes fully assembled and is super easy to put together. I love the concept and hate changing filter pads / socks. It is a nice budget version of the filter roll. I purchased the Bubble Magus Filter Roll a few months back for about $200 from premium aquatics.
